Volunteers make daily pick-ups at 14 supermarkets for delivery to 10 different churches and organizations that feed needy families in Poway and San Diego. It is estimated that throughout the year the volunteers distribute more than 450,000 pounds of food to 600 families in need.

     We would like to share and acknowledge the amazing work of our St. Michael’s St. Vincent de Paul Food Group in 2023. The St. Michael’s Food Group collected and distributed 490,000 pounds of food last year. Since 1986 we have now collected more than 18 million pounds of food for needy families.
